Subject: Chaplin's hair and eyes

Mike,
I have read every Chaplin book you can think of, so I'm pretty sure there are no colour pictures of Charlie (only pathetic technicolour ones). But in "My Autobiography" Charlie comments on how many of the people he met were taken aback by his bright BLUE eyes, which most thought to be brown from the B&W film. And in Sydney Chaplin's (his son, not his brother) biography on Charlie he tells a sad story of when Charlie was so thin he didn't think that frail frame could hold up his thick, curly, BLACK hair.
