She found her way to a window and opened the curtains. Putting her hand to the glass, she felt the heat from the sun. Another day. Without the sun for me. She sighed and turned back to the sound of the boy. "Angel? She was a present from a good friend. Angel, say hello." The owl swooped to the boy and landed gently on his shoulder and stared at him with large, round eyes whilst hooting softly in his ear. "Come." The girl beckoned with a open arm. The owl returned to her and landed on her arm.
