The blonde hugs the girl+ You'll be okay, right? +the redheaded girl nods, and the blonde gives her one last look before getting into her car and driving off+ Name: Amy Age: 12, almost 13 Physical Features: 4'11, 96 lbs, red hair & green eyes. Personality: Very sunny, cheerful, nicknamed "Anne" by the workers at the group home (like Anne and Green Gables). Past: Amy was born Amy Elizabeth Baume. She lived a normal life with her parents, James and Lina Baume, untill a few weeks after her 6th birthday, when her parents divorced. She was sent to live with her mother on weekdays and her father on weekends. Six months after the divorce was finilized, her father remarried a woman by the na,e of Gloria Meikle, who became Gloria Baume. Six months after that, her mother remarried also, to Jason D'Amato. Amy stayed Amy Baume, but Lina changed her name to Lina D'Amato. Only a year later, when coming home from a trip to see Jason's mother, the family was hit head-on by a drunk driver. Lina and Jason died instantly, only little 8-year-old Amy survived. Family court sent her to live full-time with her father and Gloria. Amy missed her mother, and as a result grew very close to Gloria. But, only six months later, James was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and they gave him three months to live. James beat the odds and lived past those six months, but, just after Amy's 9th birthday, he slipped into a coma and died three days later. Family court didn't know what to do with Amy, so, to prevent lasting trauma, they let Amy stay with her stepmother. Another six months went by, and Gloria started to date a guy named Peter Resnick. Amy didn't like him, but despite that, Gloria and Peter tied the knot two weeks after Amy's 10th birthday. Only three months into their marraige, Amy's supicions prevailed and Peter started to hit Gloria and Amy. After another three months, things got really bad, and one night, Gloria and Amy ran away together. Gloria dropped Amy off at Lara Kirby's (a friend of her's) house, telling Amy it was only for the night, and went to go find the shelter for abused women that was in their town. But, Peter found Gloria, and took her back to the house. Unbeknownst to Amy, Gloria was killed that night. For three months, Amy lived with Lara, wondering why Gloria didn't come for her. Then, Social Services found out she was staying with Lara, and found her. They told her about Gloria's death, and sent her to live in a 'group home' (that was the nice word for orphanage over there.). She stayed in the group home for nine months until Ian and Rebecca Boyd saw her when they visited the group home and requested to be her foster parents. Amy lived hapily with them and their six children (three natural, three adopted) and their two other foster children for a year and a half, until the group home was closed down and rerouted here, to Cascade Mountains.
