Update, will let you know when I get the brochure :

Details of official 2007 World Cup travel packages are expected to be released in the next few weeks, following a worldwide assessment by rights holders Cricket Logistics.

Cricket Scotland's official travel agents are Rumsey Travel, who are gearing up for the announcement and will post initial "technical" details on the website immediately their appointment is confirmed. This will be followed by a comprehensive distribution through the post of all the options being made available for fans to choose from in a printed brochure.

Warren Rumsey, managing director, told the Scottish Cricketer newspaper recently that the most popular package will probably be for two weeks, based at Nevis and St Kitts, offering tickets for all three of Scotland's initial pool matches, plus a ticket for the Australia v South Africa match in the same pool.

A range of accomodation options will be on offer, including 2, 3 and 4 star hotels, or even a self-catering appartment. Additional tickets to cater for family or small group trips will be available as a supplement.

Shorter trips will also be available, using British Midland flights from Manchester, or British Airways or Virgin flights from Gatwick. There will also be an option to see Scotland's warm-up fixtures against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Barbados and, for those who want to stay on a little longer, Rumsey Travel have also booked 55 berths for seven nights on a cruise ship following Scotland's pool matches.

Full details, including prices, are being held back until Cricket Logistics confirm
