Date Posted: 19:56:55 11/17/02 Sun Hi everyone! Ken and I just returned home and though we are very exhausted from our long day of recording, we are very pleased with the results of a hard day's work. Ken, Aaron, and I laid down the foundation of our demo, finishing drums, bass, and one guitar track on all four songs. Tomorrow evening, Ken and I are going back and I will lay down some more rhythm tracks and, time permitting, my leads. Russ, our engineer, is pretty brilliant and is achieving the kind of fat sound we're looking for. Even the dry tracks alone are sounding pretty huge right now. Russ is a blessing, for sure. We're hoping to have this thing completely done within the next few weeks at the latest, and that includes mastering and having copies ready for da people. I think you're going to like what you hear. In my opinion, there are elements of the last two bands Mike and I were in (Slamcat and Triggerfuse) that are coming out through this band, yet DFF is developing a sound and style all its own.
