We suffered a slight set back last week and ended up having to go back in and re-cut one of our songs over the weekend. After a grueling session yesterday (Sunday), the music portion of our demo is done. No one killed anyone, though we may have thought about it from time to time (haha!!). The studio is probably the most challenging part of being in a band. Pressure is high, time is short, and nerves are frayed. But, what we ended up with music-wise is something which with which we're very pleased.

Vocals are scheduled to be recorded Sunday, December 1. By the end of that day, the demo should be completely done, as far as the recording part of it. We imagine that Russ will finish up with the mixing, mastering, and burning to CD sometime during the first week of December. We haven't yet decided how we're going to package our CD, or how elaborate or non elaborate the packaging is going to be, but bottom line is that it should be available very soon.

Our official Down For Five site is up, but is still in the very early stages and still needs tweaking. Soon, a message board will be up over there and we'll probably try to shift stuff from over here to over there. Since we're not getting much activity over here, I think the transition will be pretty smooth. Check out downforfive.com regularly as it undergoes construction and improvement.
