Of all the UK players I have talked to, I don't think they really give a sh@t. What I do know is, we got former NFL coach Rich Brooks enlisted as the next UK coach. He has coached the St Louis rams and defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons. His record looks good. As for who starts as QB next year, well.....Jared Lorenzen is good, but his thing is the long ball and hasn't worked too well this last season. Shane Boyd sez he will do what he needs to do and has high hopes of starting next season, if not then he'll look at pro ball in baseball. He's not envious of Jared's talents but he does believe he's got the shaft from Guy Morris.....as has everyone else. Brooks may turn out to become what Pitino was for basketball, during those tumultuous years under NCAA sanctions. We'll just have to see what bubbles up next fall. Stay tuned!
