Hello Mrs. Blazer,

While updating the website, I do peruse the message boards from time to time and read some of the more
recent posts. I am so pleased that you find this website to be an enjoyable experience for you. That was my sole intention
when I assembled it.

The website itself, originated as a half cooked idea in February of 2001. I was trying to make an attempt at locating a
few of my classmates on one of those 'paysites'. They had allowed the non-paying members use of the message boards until
their operating capital got tight during the economic crunch felt by many of the online 'dot-com' businesses. I became quite
upset and vowed to build a 'classmate' website of my own, feeling that I could offer many of the graduates, the same features
and 'free' access to the alumni directories, as it should be.

Mind you, I had no clue, no idea that it would become as big as it has. Simply put, the 'Field of Dreams' movie that starred
Kevin Costner comes to mind, every now and then, as I gaze upon the number of Ashland/Paul Blazer graduates that have crossed
over to join our website. I try to keep everything updated and fresh, but you have to know that it is a one man operation, right now.
Not for too much longer.

A little bit about myself, I am married with two wonderful children. I live in Lexington, Kentucky and have spent the last 13 years
in the nursing field. Currently, I am finishing up my last semester of college (again) to pursue a career in web design and graphics.
I run a small web design firm called Adena Multimedia and God willing, I hope to return home to the Tri State Area to pursue a Bachelors
Degree at Marshall University, thus bringing Ashland-Tomcats.Com homebound. As we speak, I am tossing resumes out, left and right,
so I can make this possible.

Adena Multimedia is a web design firm headed by myself and Alex Hackney, a 1999 graduate who has a vested interest in the
revitalization of business in the Ashland area. Along with Alex and myself, are a group of freelance professionals, good friends of mine
who share the same vision as I do.

Thank you so much for your kind words of support. What I do, is mainly assemble and maintain the website. The website belongs
to the alumni and graduates of Ashland/Paul Blazer High School. It has brought the classes together to form a nice solid community
and gives all of the homesick folks, a place that they can call their own. Even if they are a half a world away, in some remote part of
the hemisphere, I'd like to think I have given them a little slice of home, from time to time.

Stay warm and take care,

Douglas King (Class of 1984 Paul G. Blazer High School)
