Talking about volunteers at the Hospital, I ran in Tom Neil and Clara Barney the other day. Jerry Henderson volunteers there also. Probably some more too. I don't beleive I had seen Clara since High School.
Talked with Jim Spear in Florida and Rex Walters in Ashland the other day. Jim is retired from the School System in Venice and Rex is retired from Ashland Fire Dept. We had a lot of good and boisterous times together.
I guess it is a sign of something when you desire to remember some of the old days. Had a breakfast and an hour or so of catching up with Dick Wellman recently. It's strange, but now after just a few minutes of greeting the subject goes to "How's your health?"
Give me a holler some time when you are coming in to Ashland and we'll break bread somewhere.
Good talking with you my brother.
