Some ( I am not certain here ) models prior to the Pismo require DVD CardBus Decoder Card for DVD playback. So check your model first. I list below some websites in the United States that have the upgrades that you require. This can be overcome if you opt to upgrade your processor from the G3 400Mhz to either a G3 1Ghz or G4 550 Mhz processor. Those cost around USD 350-00 to USD 400-00. Hope your upgrade works out.
