Subject: New M40 owner

Hello,

I picked up 1970 M40 (#57) a few months ago, and boy she is a solid boat. The prior owner pointed me to this site to soak up any info I can get on her.

Happy New Year!
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

My wife and I have spent the last 3-4 years rebuilding the superstructure on our M40 Moontide.
We love our boat. She is worth the effort.
We chronicled most of our projects on our website
SVMoontide.com
Keep in mind, our hull is fiberglass, and has not been an issue for us.
However, if we can answer any questions that might be helpful to you from the waterline up, let us know.
Good sailing,
M&G

Mine is one of the glass hulls too. So far she's treated me well.

I checked out our site, and loved it. YOu have tons of love and work into her, and it shows.
