I'm just getting back to this site, appreciate your reply.

I did not see any corrosion on chain plates that were exposed when I repaired the decks around the mizzen plates.

Certainly a concern, will be wondering when the mast will let go, just won't sail her hard.

Finally decided the engine has to come out, antifreeze leaking into the oil, and the engine is a mess despite it starts easily and runs smoothly. Getting it out is going to be quite the undertaking it seems.

You can see the project here, 350 hours since June, and no end in site, I hope to be sailing it next summer.

Quite a project. I can imagine it looking beautiful when finished. I have been thinking of moving the water tank under the v-berth but a little concerned with weight there. Maybe maxing out at 50 gal. What do you think?
