Subject: Sail Options

You might check out a site called SailRite. They make sail kits (you sew) and have a set of plans for several Mariners on file. http://www.sailritesails.com/.

But your options are only limited to what any ketch can fly. So cruise around among photos of sailing ketches to see your options. Half the fun of a ketch is sail combining:

Plain Sail:
Jib
Main
Mizzen

Not unusual additional compliment:
Forestaysail
Genoa
Storm Jib
Trisail

Extra Fun:
Spinnaker
Asymmetrical Spinnaker
Mule Sail
Mizzen Staysail

Probably others I've not thought of or seen.

Thanks for the replies. I don't think I've seen the tri-sail in any of the pics before. I have Mariah. 1973 M36 #10. I'm located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and fitting her out for a 12 month trip to El Carib, to begin within next 24 mo.
