On Murre the holding tank is about 10gal and is hung underneath the starboard side of the vberth. Joanna insists the starboard side is mine to sleep on. Use to think it odd I was sleeping so close to the holding tank, but I don't hear or smell anything (well, at least nothing to do with what's in the tank). The tank is held to the vberth frames by two nylon straps and does not come in contact with the hull. Tank is plastic.

On another M32, I saw it placed athwartships under the most foreward part of the starboard settee.

The holding tank on Cactus Tree is under the V berth, I would say it's about 20 gallons. It fits the space really well. Looks like it was intended to be a fuel tank, it's V shaped.
Doug.
