*Her silvery mane and tail flow like rivers in the cool breeze as she pushes smoothly through the willow's tendrils and halts next to her handsome mate. She bumps his head lightly with her nose in greeting flags her tail that flows like a shining waterfall to the shortly-cropped, fresh green grass. Her round, silvery sides gleam in the dappled sunlight as she drops her head and grazes lightly. She thinks proudly of her daughter, Cloudy, already gone off to find a mate. A sharp pain stabs her heart like a dagger.* Ganesh. I got it from Ganesh. *She pauses in a somber silence, recalling her sire. She turns her head slightly and sees her mother, a few hundred feet off, asleep beneath a graceful elm.* Poor Sunny, *she thinks.* It must have been so hard . . . losing Papa, and then losing Captain. *She shudders, thinking of her own experience with Masked, the father of her daughter, and stands closer to Sky.* Never leave me, *she thinks fiercely.* And I'll never leave you.
