Subject: black laquer gateleg table oriental design

I am looking for any information on an old gateleg table that is finished in black lacquer and has hand painted scenes of an oriental (Chinese?) landscape on both leafs. The scenes depict asian dwellings, trees, flowers, footbridge and a red sun on one leaf with a yellow sun on the other. This came into our family in the early 60's and was old then. I can't seem to find anything in books or the internet to tell me when it may have been made and where or by whom. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Mike S.
