I am sure my opinion on this is covered later on in the list of replies, but I am too lazy to look through all of them, so, here is the deal.

FUCK THE NOSTALGIA BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!

The only way we will EVER have a scene here again is if we all stop bitching and put our heads together and MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! Brian, Kevin, KW, and I have discussed this issue repeatedly, and we are all more than willing to put up some of our hard earned cash to get some shows here. I have been going to shows in OKC for about 10 years now, and I was around during the "hayday" of the Oklahoma punk scene. Yes, I enjoyed every miniute of it.....The deal is that back then, there were a few solid venues that would host shows. We should collectively trade ideas, and information, so that we can rebuild a scene here.....we have to start small, we can't expect to get bigger acts to play here if we don't have a scene that will support even local shows. You are all welcome to email me at the address above, or even call me at home to exchange ideas. I have a list of about 20 bands that I KNOW will play here if we can come up with a venue and get more than 10 people out for the show.
