Why is it that nobody ever suggests "safe smoking" when the issue is cigarettes? Cigarette condoms, and the like? I mean, the kids are smoking whether we want to admit it or not, but everyone seems to think we can take the cigs away from them, despite the fact that nicotine is more physically addictive than sex. Why is it that education can supposedly eliminate the smoking problem, but we have to allow that they will be having promiscuous sex and we can't stop it? We can eliminate the thing that's more addictive, but we must accommodate the thing that is less physically addictive.

Of course...too many cigarettes kill you, but too much promisuity leads to premature families...which tend to lead to a Welfare state...

Political agendas, anyone? Ha, ha, ha, you may say--of course not. But count the political liberals who advocate the tax-impunit sale of a legal product (tobacco) over and against the political conservatives who hold forth that the solution to problems with teenage sexual activity is to teach them how to have sex more efficiently.
