I don't think there was any misunderstanding. I think it was intentional. Guber was completely justified in his anger. I was dissappointed that Steven didn't take his side. I don't buy the argument that it would discriminate. It's all about good judgement. Would they do a play chronicling the KKK in an arena where people might take exception? I think it just comes down to courtesy.

I agree here...someone would have spilled the beans. I don't think it's out of the realm of posibility that no one from staff would have stopped in to see the rehearsal though.

Also, does anyone else find it hard to believe that

no...not at all...I think especially in an understaffed school, teachers will be thrust into classrooms that they may not have had any experience with prior. It happened to Marla last year.
