Now WHY did he have to do that to us? LOL! Look out when next months questions start coming, Bill! Either Moyes is baiting us for something to come, or maybe he is refering to the upcoming Golob release with Steve singing on one song?
I thought the entire Q&A was great! He always has interesting stuff to say about percussion, his musical taste, the FTLOSM tour and Steve.
I was particularly interested in his comment about the Journey Ford commercial. I, along with many of Steve's fans felt that Steve would never agree to sell a song with his name in the credits to endorse a product. I was just surprised to see Moyes confirm that so vehemently. Just goes to show that his fans as well as his friends know that the music has always been more important to him than the buck. I did think he might have more say in what kind of deals Azoff is making for classic Journey, though. Maybe if he is only a 1/6 partner now, he was outvoted? I have to admit, though, when I hear that commercial and Steve's voice on TV, I am NOT thinking about Ford Trucks!! The only thing that commercial would sell me is another copy of a well worn CLASSIC Journey CD, or a Perry CD.
