Looks like our vacation is soon to be over (**fingers-crossed**) Jan, I thought I posted it, but I guess I didn't cuz I still can't find it..oh well, guess this is my equalivent to catching poison ivy at camp...LOL Weather doesn't have a clue....I posted that we weren't expecting snow yesturday, and guess what...I've always thought that white stuff falling from the sky was snow...cause thats whats all over my lawn!! LOL Not a big snow shower, but it's still snow! Temps in the mid 30's, but who knows what it will be at noon today!! LOL Have a great Tuesday to all, and Peace, Love, and Perry!   Fact of the Day....Over 2500 left handed people a year are killed from using products made for right handed people! They are saying anywhere from 2 to 4 inches which might not seem like a lot to some but for here is enough to shut the schools down for a day! Stay warm everyone and have a wonderful day!! |

Date Posted: 05:23:35 12/03/02 Tue G'Morning all Y'all!!! Still cold here, but no snow falling! (maybe Mr Winter is vacationing somewhere and forgot about us? Keeping my fingers crossed!) I have a question for anyone. Is anyone here Jewish? My daughter is trying to figure out what to do for her boyfriend this year. He is Jewish and his family celebrates hanukkah rather than Christmas. She is stumped. Can she give him a present for Hannukah? Or is it handled differently???? Hope everyone has a great day! |

Date Posted: 10:14:25 12/03/02 Tue I'm not Jewish, but lived in a heavly populated Jewish neighborhood in Chicago, but here's what I know.....Your daughter should buy small presents, and give him one a day for the 8 days of Hanukkah. Little chocolate coins are very popular...basically the same as candy canes to those who celebrate Christmas. Blue & white and/or silver should be the wrapping paper (you'll be able to find it anywhere...Wal-Mart, etc.), and if you guys are stiff confused of what to do, then either call the boyfriends Mom or his synagogue for more help. |

Date Posted: 09:15:39 12/03/02 Tue Good evening Ladies, I´m also here. In Berlin is cold and wet weather. The first snow is thawed and the cold creeps in your jacket. Brrrr... A lot of Christmas fairs have opened. You can eat roasted almonds, crystallized apples, gingerbreads and you can drink mulled wine. All things smell very good. I like it and the mulled wine let you thaw out again. Aaahhh.... Have a nice day! Noel, I like your Christmassy street lamp  |
