It has top priority and the first technician in will begin the process. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After that I have to reconstruct the databases. Date Posted: 10:58:40 12/05/02 Thu The installation of the databases is proceeding. There has been extensive testing of the equipment before loading to ensure that we don't suffer the same problems with the site crashing. Still no time / date for when we can go home though. ![]() |

Date Posted: 15:32:14 12/05/02 Thu This is why I am glad that I signed up for my forum at Ezboard. They always have let us know why something isn't working right and fix things right away. I was tempted at one time to join Forumco but, am beyond happy I didn't. How much anyway does it cost to join Forumco? At Ezboards it cost around $30. It is according to how many people you have on your forum. I hope things work out for them to get the board up and running. They are probally losing alot of people right now. Date Posted: 04:13:26 12/06/02 Fri Well, Matt, in another life and completely unrelated subject-matter, I had a very bad time with EZBoard, and I admit I don't like the look and feel of their forums. Saying that "they always let us know" if something is wrong doesn't inspire confidence ... the fact is that for the whole time we have been with ForumCo - until this problem, we have enjoyed unusually trouble-free service with very little downtime. I get the impression that many of the forums will stay with ForumCo if thet can just get this fixed, because theirs are amongst the most professional-looking and user-friendly forums around. ![]() |
