Date Posted: 00:18:20 09/22/05 Thu We have emailed our contact at the company who provide our servers, but as yet, there has been no response. We will let you know, here, as soon as there is any news. We know that this is frustrating for you, and we hope that we won't be away from our 'home' for very much longer. Please keep checking back here, and if you are in email contact with any of our members who might not have made a note of this web address, please let them know where we are. To answer Moni, yes our servers are in Texas. It's my understanding though, that they are underground and protected from most weather conditions. However, if there is water ingress, or any above-ground cables are affected by Hurricane Rita, it's possible that we will suffer sustained downtime. Should that happen, we will try and find a better temporary solution than this board. Please bear with us. Jan for Gini, Noel and Jan, USPFC [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
