Subject: Neil

Neil and I went out tonight, his first time going out with friends other than me since the accident. He was really quite the whole night but acted like he had fun. On the way home, I was talking to him and he admitted to me it was awkward for him to go out and have fun when he is sitting in a wheelchair. Then he said he doesn't like being in the car much either since the accident. Tomorrow he is going to see a counselor because he keeps having flashbacks and such. I don't know, it's just a stressful time. He said without me, he doesn't know what he would do and he said he didn't really want me to go to UT in 3 weeks for school, what choice do i have now?
