() Amble foot steps leading her to the brook, she dipped her solid paws under it's glassy surface and waded out a good way into it's babbling chatter. Lupin head with eyes that soaked up the whole 180 degree she could see, was lowered as her tongue snaked forth to lap at the water before her jaws. It was cool and refreshing, giving the tired female the strenght needed to find a nice cool spot to settle from the mid-afternoon's heat. The time was no shadows. The sun was directly ahead, and this is how she kept her busy day straight. With the sun above her, that meant that it was almost halfway through the day. The sun, being directly overhead would cast no shadows sideways, merely directly under the object that shielded. T'was somthing most wolves learned, just as a human child learns to read a clock. Her attention deverted back to the stream, she shallowed her mouthful or crisp water. She cocked her head forward again, looking for her beloved. Maybe he'd like to spend the afternoon laying under a shade tree with her. Or, of course, he might have other duties to preform. Any case, she'd ask as soon as she found him. Head arched back she releashed a soft howl inwhich the wind whipped away, Her call fell- shattering the bliss silence that had settled. The days were clicking nearer to the day she would bring the new lives into the forrest. She had to admit, the concept scared her slightly. But she'd be brave and do what it would take- no matter what it took, to ensure her offspring would survive. ()
