Subject: Actress Needed For Short Indi Film Author: Robert [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 17:01:58 05/15/05 Sun Actress Needed For Short Indi Film Student filmmaker seeking non-union (non-paid) actress for co-lead role in upcoming Romance/Thriller/Tragedy short independent film project in Pittsburgh, PA. This movie is being shot on DV and will be approx 15-20 mins long. It will also be shot at several local locations. Mostly in a modern style house that will be lent to us for this production. Actress should be: White Between the ages of 19-27. Preferably shorter than 5’6’’ and no more than 160lbs. You will be asked to play the wife of a young British student actor. However, you do not have to act British or be British yourself. You must be willing and available to shoot at a few locations. Your counterpart will be non-union as well for this very small budget film. Filming will start approx: End of June and into July various times depending on our schedules (FLEXIBLE). No previous acting experience is required. However if you have some experience, great. :) I am looking to promote and work with serious, dedicated, bold, positive, and passionate local talent within the area. The ideal person for this project would be someone who wants to further their career and use this piece as a part of their actress portfolio. This will debut on iFilm and several other websites, as well as my own website (which is under development), upon completion. It will also be entered into several short/Indi film festival competitions. You will be rewarded with a great learning experience, a DVD for your portfolio, possible industry exposure, and overall film production experience.
