Subject: Windsor/Chester/Windsor Ride August 9/10 2014. £20.00 Only.

The Audax UK are revising this event for 2014! It used to be run continually between 1976 and 1995 and was predominately on main roads which I suppose became considered unsafe. This new revised route is mostly on minor roads. Start 08.00 on Sat 9th with controls are at Eynsham, Chipping Campden, Belbroughton, Muxton and turning at Chrisleton Scout Hut.(Chester)The return controls are Upton Magna,* Belbroughton,* Chipping Campden, Chalgrove and back to Windsor. There will be sleeping facilities where * and I think some food supplied at the controls. It is 600K distance and to be within the given time limit you have to beat 14.3 KPH (just under 9 MPH)this is including feed and sleep stops, so it's not a tear up! Although the faster you go the more sleep time you can have. A bargain at £20.00. I've already entered as these events sometimes get over subscribed. London/Edinburgh/London 2013 was with over 1000 entries from all countries which proves there are plenty of good bike riders about.
