the wind
has a dripping melody
you can hear it through the trees
yearn
ing
again
for the splashes
of vagrant sunlight

she to nestle
as she will

turbulent seas -
with their high chromatic blend
of orchestrated sound
upon the window
leaves her floated tears
that sought my soul
when the clouds low
they strolled
near the meadow
and each small blade of green long grass
shivered
in her airs
of passing

it was the water that I did see
only

slide
in her defeated state
wide
and every bump was remembered
and the drop
grew longer
