I've been in southern Mexico until a couple of days ago, and the place where I was at most of the time, La Manzanilla, was a pretty isolated fishing village that had very little in telephone connections let alone internet (especially my little shack...heh...pictures might explain that one)...but no I'm not dead (probably to the chagrin of some). To tell the truth it was pretty fucking nice, and it gave me alot of time to sort out things about how I view life, love, people and hate and generally get my head screwed on straight. However, I should probably note that this band is dead. It's been a while since FMZ has done anything, and to tell the truth I really don't feel like keeping it up. On the bright side, I'm talking to Lee Lavy from Horseshoes and Handgrenades about getting something else going (I'm not tired of making music, just FMZ music) and if Dave and Bob want to join up with it too, that would be doubly groovy.

Charlie

PS- Yay for corny soul searching, like when somebody runs off to another country and magically discovers their true self. It's special.
