Though the snarl still played about his muzzle Malik gave a tired sigh and lay down on the cool pavement tail slightly tucked and his ears back just the tiniest bit. He hated submitting to this leech, but being a mindless toy sounded worse than giving in, more or less, on his own. Besides this way he might have a chance of escaping eventually, though he quickly banished that the thought to the deepest pit of his mind were the vampiress would not find it, or if she did it would hopefully be overlooked. After all even the most brainwashed slave longed for freedom in the deepest dreams. "I give up," the mental admission sounded as tired as the shifter looked at the moment. Hopefully it would be enough for the vampiress.
