.. So it was understandable that he wanted his space - and for now Dorjan was going to give it to him. He had promised that he wouldn't push anything else unless Zeth wanted to. But, for crying out loud, the poor boy had to at least have some sense in his head.
"If you sleep like that, you'll be sore in the morning from your jeans." He didn't suggest a solution for this issue, simply pointed out what he had assumed to be the obvious. There was, of course, the idea that maybe he had just been that tired and confused. He certainly hoped he wasn't just being shy. ..

Well, shy was one thing Zeth had been, and would probably be for a while. He turned a deeper red then before as he pulled off his pants under the cover, leaving his underwear on most definately. He shifted over, just a little bit, from the edge of the bed. His jeans landed on the side of the bed. As he relaxed, he finally realized everything he had been through, and it almost brought tears to his eyes. Instead of just crying, he shifted closer to the other, resting his head on the other's chest, but nothing more.

.. He watched Zeth, regardless of any human limitations or morals that would have caused someone else embarassment for watching another partially undress. He found the blush that spread across Zeth's cheeks rather entertaining, but managed to prevent himself from chuckling outside as he figured that would only embarass the hybrid even more.
Dorjan could feel the change in Zeth's emotional state just for it being that strong, and he wrapped an arm around the young man when he came closer and whispered comfortingly to him. "It's alright now, you're safe here. You just need to forget." The arm that was around Zeth rubbed his arm slowly, making sure that Zeth knew he was safe here and protected and watched over. Truthfully, if that man ever came back here after Zeth, Dorjan would kill him. ..

.. As the other stilled and finally relaxed, the vampire stopped moving his hand on Zeth's arm. The small smile was still on his face, and he nodded to Zeth's comment. "Sleep well." His own chest was still as stone, unneeding to move to take in and release air. There also was no sound, for which Zeth might've found disturbing at some point in time - almost everyone did afterall. Dorjan, like Zeth, was much more relaxed now and even allowed himself to begin to drift towards sleep. ..

Now, Zeth went off to sleep, and it would be well assumed that eventually so did Dorjan. To that end, it was a long while before anything of interest happened. That is to say, eventually Zeth woke up, finding Dorjan still asleep, or so he'd assumed. He'd only been awake an hour or two apparently, and he just couldn't seem to get back to sleep. Slowly, carefully, he shifted away from Dorjan, shivering a bit as he pushed the covers away and stood. He moved towards the window, to stare out of it for a bit.
Uninterestingly enough, he was probably looking at the same moon that Ek'Nav would (Most likely) Be staring at at this very moment. Not that that was any point of interest, but it makes for great space filler, no?

.. Dorjan did indeed sleep through Zeth's movements from the bed, trapped in the vampiric version of a coma. The world could end around a vampire sleeping, and they wouldn't even notice it. It was likewise true that Ek'Nav probably was looking out of his own window at the moon at that moment. Unknown to them both, Ek'Nav and Shite had been the second pair that Zeth had had a choice of aside from Dorjan's own private tutilege. Ah, the chances we miss and never even know about. ..

Zeth watched that moon for a long while, contemplating things as they were now. It wasn't right. He hadn't done anything wrong. He'd just been himself! It wasn't as if he had been a bastard in the process. But it didn't matter much at this point.
After a few more minutes of staring, he blinked, and looked away. He slipped over back to his pants, and picked them up, pulling them on. He grabbed for his bag, and began shuffling through it. Let's see... a towel, some changes of clothes, and his pocket knife. He took that pocket knife, and moved away, to the bathroom. He shut the door, and began doing something. No one could be sure what, but eventually blood filled the air as scent. Not much, definately not a lethal ammount. If one could defer the amount being lost, they'd find it to be a small ammount, actually.

.. It wasn't the noise of Zeth shuffling through his bag, or even the motion to the bathroom door that attracted and finally rose Dorjan from his slumber. Typically of vampiric behavior, it was the smell of the blood. Atypical of humans, once he opened his eyes he was fully awake and far from the half-sleep that most non-vampires suffered. Sitting upright, he glanced around. No Zeth.
He moved straight towards the bathroom, rapping on it rather sternly with the back of his hand. "Zeth." He didn't expect that he needed to explain himself fully to the other. The scent was strong enough to notice, and he wasn't exactly stupid. And he wasn't in the mood right now to tolerate stupidity. ..

A voice came from the bathroom, and of course, it was Zeth's. The voice indeed sounded relaxed, and not at all unaware of the blood. Of course, it seemed not to matter too much. "I'm not finished yet. But the door's open."
Inside, Zeth was cutting himself. Of course, it wasn't cutting himself in the normal way. No, these were fine, barely bleeding uts, intricately place all up one arm. Beautiful patterns, place just so that they bled very little. Of course, the little drops that did escape were quickly (And rather politely) licked up. He had a smile on his face, and he didn't even wince.

.. Relaxation mingled with the blood was something that wasn't exactly settling for the vampire at this moment. Afterall, one could do a lot of damage when one was relaxed - especially to oneself. And Dorjan had earlier thought just on Zeth's probability of suicide and a number of other things. But at the same time, the scent wasn't strong enough, unless the boy was really incredibly intelligent.
Instead of continuing on with these thoughts - which really transpired in under a second or two, Dorjan opened the door and stepped inside. If Zeth wasn't embarassed the invite him inside, then there was certainly no reason to be hesitant about it himself.
Impassively, he looked over Zeth's arm. He stepped around to the side to get a better look, quirking an eyebrow. "You've got to be kidding me." Flatlined. ..

.. For a few seconds Dorjan seemed to stand in indecision between being angry with the boy or being lenient and understanding. With a sigh he loosened and yet did not release Zeth's arm, despite the other's struggles. "First rule of the house, Zeth - you always listen to me. Followed closely by the fact that you don't resist me." His voice wasn't caring this time around, adopting the more typical way that Dorjan spoke around his slaves. Zeth was no exception, and would not be an exception.
"As far as your appearance is concerned, it is for me to decide those things. Marking up your body like that, unless the hand that does so is skilled, actually makes you worth less to me." ..

.. Releasing Zeth's wrist, he took the knife away from him and slipped it into his belt loop to deal with later. The boy would have to learn - and quickly - to avoid Dorjan's temper and mood swings. Zeth had had a choice of learning curves, and he had chosen the straight line.
"Master." he corrected the other in a bored drawl, "Especially so when you're apologizing. Show some respect." He turned from Zeth then to snatch a towel off the rack and toss it to the hybrid. "Clean yourself up. We'll see how it heals." If Zeth knew Dorjan at all, then he would have known that the vampire wasn't neccessarily angry with him - it wasn't bad work afterall. ..

Zeth frowned, and looked at his arm, gently seeping up what little blood came with the wounds. He'd practiced it a lot. Some branded their slaves. Some tattooed them. His father scarred them, and Zeth got to learn how. It was fun! After a few moments, he moved towards dorjan, hanging his head. 'Do-... Master, are you going to punish me?" oh he sounded so sad at that.

"I'm afraid I'll reserve that for when you do something very wrong, unless you want me to give you more of a punishment? He smiled then, fangs flashing in a not-so-kind gesture that was more subconscious than anything else. Afterall, blood had woken him and now he was hungry. What was it that Kyan had said? .. Oh dear, he was fang shy. And we all know that predatory instincts are triggered rather harshly when things run away. Naturally, Dorjan followed after Zeth towards the bed. Sheets? They can be replaced rather easily. But Dorjan wasn't the type to spill a drop of anything edible. He slipped in behind Zeth, standing perhaps a little closer than he needed to.

Zeth's wings shuddered, and it was obvious that it made him think of something that was more than likely beyond Dorjan's reach. slowly, almost hesitantly, his body forced him back, to press his wings against the other's chest, and he turned red in the face. When his voice finally came out (It was so hard to speak when you were scared, or nervous,) it was a quiet whisper. "I'm sorry..."

.. As Zeth stepped into his grasp, Dorjan's arms lazily laced under the wings and around the young man's waist to keep him close to him. "It's alright. Everyone makes mistakes." He spoke that time, breath drawn in and forced out to cause the sound brushing against the side of Zeth's neck from Dorjan's closeness. He was leaning slightly over the other at this point, chin resting on Zeth's shoulder and head tilted in towards the other's face. So close, indeed. The vampire could feel the pulse of the other, the beat of the heart and the pacing of the blood under the skin. ..

.. He nuzzled into the offered neck, pressing a small kiss to the artery that lay under the thin skin of the neck. His obsidian eyes slid closed a moment as Zeth's hand slid up his own neck and head. However, when Zeth started to struggle a bit they opened lazily. As the other tried to slip away, Dorjan merely tightened his grip a little bit.
"Now, don't do that. You'll hurt yourself." His physical voice was so close to Zeth's ear, nearly exhaling the words into the small organ. "I'm not going to hurt you." He was confident with his own words, knowing the initial repulsion and avoidance that most showed, and then the tendency to look forward to the occurance. Creatures could be so fickle at times. ..

He struggled a bit more, before he found it pointless to resist. Slowly, he relaxed against the other, his wings shuffling ever so slightly. it was so tempting to just lay there. It wasn't at all tempting to move away. guess what happened? He stayed where he was, his breath, and his heart rate quickening.

.. Dorjan inhaled the other's scent closely, waiting for Zeth to relax against him. As the winged one finally did settle down, Dorjan returned to nuzzling his neck and placing small kisses along the veins there. He wasn't in any rush, and it was far more important that Zeth remain calm and trust him through this as opposed to continue to freak out around him. He didn't want to hurt his newest toy afterall. ..

.. The vampire wrapped his arms tighter around Zeth, encompassing him in more of a hug than a hold though it worked just as effectively. "Relax for me, Zeth." He whispered those words to the other, his own heart stilled by death and his own skin cold to the touch like aged marble. He gave Zeth one more kiss before opening his mouth and easily piercing the young man's neck with his two fangs. ..

Zeth immedietly went tense, though slowly relaxed, biting his lip gently. His eyes shut, and he let out a quiet sound. One hand moved to gently push at Dorjan, while the other hung there almost limply. Maybe he didn't enjoy it as much as the other people in the world did. Or maybe he was just uncomfortable with it.

He kept his own eyes open through his feed, though they were half-lidded and the majority of his muscles relaxed. He sighed into his aggressive 'kiss', his fangs slowly pulling out of the other's flesh. He licked at the trailing blood, sucking lightly on the piece of flesh. He made no move to release Zeth just yet either. ..

The boy kept struggling, though it weakened just a bit. After all, he had just had blood taken from him. He looked rather pale. His survival thoughts came to mind, and he didn't really think about the whole slave thing like he should've. What slave would openly resist? "Let go..." The words were semi-weak, though they still held the urgency of fear.

.. Dorjan responded to Zeth's words with a harsh nip to the young man's neck. The grip around Zeth's waist tightened, and he growled slightly in warning. "Watch your mouth, boy." He wasn't going to be lenient forever on him, and perhaps now was the time that that leincy was starting to fade rapidly.
He pulled his face out of Zeth's neck, black eyes resting harshly on the side of the winged boy's face. ..

That made Zeth practically halt. It was all starting to settle in, albeit slowly. He didn't start moving again, but he did start to tear up. He tried to froce the tears down, but they still sat on the edges of his eyes. His voice was still weak. "Please..."

.. He kissed the place he had bitten, slipping his arms out from around Zeth's waist and giving the hybrid the freedom he so wanted. "I think you're highly over-reacintg." He turned from him then, taking a few steps away to peer at him curiously.
"Would you prefer to leave my tutelage for someone else now?" An option but his tone suggested it was probably not a pleasant one. Or perhaps just one he didn't like. ..

Zeth easily moved back to the bed, and sat down, pulling his knees up to hs chest. His wings fluttered, as he took in the words Dorjan made, but more importantly, how it was said. Was he testing him? Either was it was scaring him, or it was assuring him that the others would be worse. It didn't matter in any event. He felt safer around him. "You... I'd still rather be taught by you... Master." The last word was uttered hesitantly, but it was said none-the-less.

.. He watched as Zeth moved away and towards the bed, waiting a few moments before following him suit. Taking his own seat very near Zeth, he stared as he spoke and took his time to form his own response. As he thought, a small smile tugged at the corner's of his mouth.
"It's good to know that. Remember, you can always change your mind." The words dribbled out like molasses and honey onto bread - sweet and slow. There was no point in rushing anything, there was plenty of time to do what needed to be done afterall.
Lazily he reached his hand out to swipe under Zeth's eye, wiping away the traces of the tears from that side in a gentle gesture. "You don't need to fear me." ..

He looked up at him, nodding slowly as he thought about the situation at hand. Eventually he cast it off, and tried nodding again. Zeth scooted closer, and gently put his head against the other's chest, nuzzling it a bit. "M-master... it's hard to not be scared."

.. The vampire ran his hand through Zeth's hair in a comforting gesture, the other hand reaching out to trace down the line of feathers in one of his wings. They were soft for now, and absently he wondered if they would harden and brittle with a little age to them. At the same time, he wondered how long it would be before Zeth could actually use them - if he'd ever be able to at all. It would be better, and far easier, if it never came to that.
"I know. But always remember that you're safe here." ..

He sighed into Dorjan's chest, and nodded, his wings flickering. They settled gently, and he pulled his head fro the other's chest, looking up at Dorjan, and smiling. "Thanks... Master." It got him to relax, apparently.

.. The smile on his face spread gently, fluidly. There was no trace of any kind of predator there now, no aggression or deep hunger. In fact, his face was stained a sun-tanned color that gave warmth to his features which were warm now. Warm and colored from Zeth's blood.
"I am glad to be of help, Zeth." The hand in Zeth's hair trailed down to rest on his shoulder, gripping him in a friendly, encouraging gesture before dropping altogether to rest on the bed. The hand on the other's wings drifted down, but did not release the feathers that they were touching.
Dorjan had a plan at this point in time to help with Zeth's adjustment. He could remain with him, of course, but Dorjan didn't want to leave him alone during the day while he was working. Perhaps it was indeed time to try someone out on being a trainer - with less training and more babysitting. ..
