I have always found that my best success in talking to my employers about behavior issues etc comes when I bring solid evidence to back up my educated opinions and thoughts.
I would suggest you do a google search for articles on setting limits for children, or whatever topic you are looking for information about.
Then print it out, take it to your employers and have them read it, you might even add your own thoughts either on paper or verbally but when you have something in writing that supports your theories, it carries a lot of weight with parents.
