If you are one of the nannies lucky enough not to have to put all the mileage and wear and tear on your vehicle, not to mention the added insurance expense, if your insurance company will allow you to use your car for work as a nanny at all, then yes, it is your responsibility to take the car in for these things. It is like saying your employer provided you a high chair for making it easier to feed the children but she should have to clean it each day because she owns it. You should not have to pay for it, but you should accept the responsibility as part of your job. This is very normal for nannies who have vehicles provided for work use.
