I recently applied for a nanny position for a pediatrician. She told me that since the 2 month old baby cried a lot and her husband worked at home I wd have to rock or walk the baby to keep her quiet. No problem I love babies. Then she wanted to know what I cd do while the baby napped. I said I wd unload and reload the dishwasher and tidy the kitchen. She said that since her and her 5 yr old son left a mess behind them when they left she wanted the whole house tidied. I said I wd try. Then she said she wanted her bed made and the family dinner prepared before her return at 3:30Pm. I said I am not a cleaning lady. She thought 8$ an hour was too much to pay. Too bad. In the 20 years I have been a nanny, no one has ever asked me to make the parents bed, yuk. I dont clean toilets either. How do you make a dinner and keep the baby quiet. She wants a wizard not a nanny.
