I really like my job except for 1 major issue. One of my boss' works more and more from home. In my application, I stated clearly that I do not work with families that either parent is at home. I have worked for this family for 2 1/2 years but the last year my boss(the father) has been in and out of the house constantly with no set schedule. I find it distracting for me and the kids. Originally I was told that he was gone most of the time, and eventually would be getting an office out of the house. What do I do now? It's his house, he has the right. I have addressed the issue many times by saying the kids do not listen to me when the parents are around etc..he has yet to get the hint. I would love to just quit, but I do love the kids and there is a comfort level there, I like the mom too. Also, when the female boss goes on business, he can not take care of the kids at night after I leave, he has to have his mother-in-law come up.(she is very nice).but you know grandma's spoil kids...It's been a very difficult time this past year, I want to handle this right, it's hard when you have no respect for one of your boss'. Please help!!!(I am a live-out nanny)
Thanks
Kay
