The only mention of a vacation in my whole contract is:
"VACATION. Caregiver shall receive 2 weeks of paid
vacation every contract
year, taken at her discretion, with at least 2 months
advance notice
provided to the Family."
I am a salaried employee who is paid semi-monthly. My
questions are as follows:
What happens when an employer takes a vacation other
than the 2 weeks chosen
by the nanny?
Is it typical for the nanny to be paid or take this
time as unpaid?
If an employer pays a nanny while the employer is on
vacation, is this time
typically counted as the nanny's vacation days?
