My partner and I each get about 5 weeks vacation a year that we have earned from working many years at our companies. How many weeks would be considered reasonable to pay a Nanny when we take them. I fully understand the concept of paying a Nanny when we take vacation because it is us taking the time off but I am not sure about a whole 5 weeks for someone that would be just starting a position(there are not a lot of employers that give 5 weeks vacation right off the bat).
I really want to do the right thing but also feel that we have to draw a line somewhere.
