I am in need of some advise and have no other resources available. I am a nanny and currently working with a family I found through a nanny staffing agency. The family is wonderful but they have been seeking advise on my payment from the staffing agent and I am unsure of whose interests he is looking out for.
I have very little experience in this arena and was hoping you could share some information. I tend to a 10 yr old and a 7 mo old. The parents often leave me and the 10 yr old at home while they travel but are also planning vacations where I would be required to travel with them. I do not live with them and am wondering what the standard pay in these situations would be.
