My two front top teeth used to slightly overlap. After a couple mths of treatment, they seperated and there became a gap between them. To hold the teeth together, the ortho tied a wire around them and has been doing this ever since (probably 9-10 mths now). The problem is the teeth meet at the bottom of each tooth but there has been a slight gap at the top of the teeth, near my gums. I gues because of the way the teeth are shaped, they are more rounded then square. The gap hasn't closed and I'm beginning to think it won't.
