Worst was 'hey metal mouth'. But that was as a joke by a friend of mine. I doubt anybody would ever out and out be mean about it. Almost everybody I've talked to has said it's not so bad (I do wear ceramic though) or has said 'oh yeah I used to wear em'. Don't worry, you'll start to get used to them and stop noticing yourself.
