The first day I went to work with braces was strange because I hadn't told anyone I was getting them. My reason for not telling them was because I wanted NO ONE to talk to me out of it. My boss walked by me while I was helping a customer and he says "What is in your mouth?!?!?!". Then later he came back and asked me why I got them. His exact words were "so what brought that on?" like I was having an identity crisis or something! I had another girl tell me "you know they make clear ones now". Yes, in fact I DO KNOW, they were also going to cost a LOT more money. Anyways no one has said anything entirely rude I think people are mostly just curious and the odd person is jealous. I've had a lot of positive comments and I feel really good about my entire choice of getting braces!!! I've even had a few people tell me they would like to get braces since having seen me with them but they aren't as brave as I am. Me so brave! :) lol
