Subject: Tired of braces Author: Tim (Seattle) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 19:02:24 08/24/04 Tue I've been in braces for 3 months now, but it seems like a year. Most of the time, I'm okay about my braces, but lately I'm tired of the whole ordeal. My wife and I went out to a fancy restaurant and my braces plus expander made eating such a chore that it was hard to appreciate the fine food. On the positive side, my speech is improved so that I don't slur and spew spit when talking and my weight has stabilized after I lost nearly 10 lbs (I've gained back about 3 lbs of that loss).
