I have had my braces on for 3 1/2 months. I had 4 teeth pulled prior to braces(2 upper, 2 lower), to give the teeth room to move.

I noticed in a week or two that my upper teeth had straightened considerably.

I do think, however, that it depends on the person and the problems they have with their mouth.

Also, I was told that I would be in braces for 24+ months, so I don't think that fast movement is going to shorten that time. They will probably get into the correct place, and then I will see NO movement for a long time, but a necessary time, because (probably) if the braces were taken off too quickly, the teeth would want to move back to where they previously were.

Anyway, hang in there - you will see something soon, and in the end it will be ALL worth it :>)
