My upper right lateral, my Upper left and right cuspid are located far up in my gums, in the front. I want braces, how long do you figure i will need them for? i'm 22 years old. As well, anyone have similar problems?

The reason my teeth are like that, is because when I was little, i was very terrified at pulling teeth, so basically I let them decay until they fell out, causing my new teeth to grow in where they could, up high on my gums. My mom took me to the dentist mult. times and he refused to remove the baby teeth for me, thus i have to get braces now. He was just out to make more $$ off of me in the future. =(
