Hi All:
I was reading posts on this site, and realized what good company I was in.
Our world celebrates people for doing many different and outstanding things. Look at the Olympics, and what it takes to participate. Look at how we celebrate Mother's day, Father's day, birthdays, etc, etc.
Well as I read the posts on this site, I realize that I am part of an ELITE group.
Let's face it - we, as adults, have committed to at LEAST 24 months (and more for many), of being speech challenged, food challenged, mouth pain challenged.... and we all did it because we chose to do it, unlike kids, who's parents decided on their braces. AND, unlike kids, we are paying for it OURSELVES.
Now, doesn't that sound like an elite group?? Either that, or we are all crazy (tee hee).
Anyway, the hardest thing I have ever done before this was childbirth, and that was only pain for a matter of hours, and still, society rewards me with Mother's day.
This is a matter of years, and society doesn't recognize it at all!!
So what do you think?? Don't we deserve an INTERNATIONAL ADULTS WITH BRACES DAY :>)
