I have a lingual arch to push my lower teeth out due to some crowding.After the teeth are pushed out enough they will put brackets on my lower. The arch does not irritate my tonge, my worst enemy right now is my TPA but after 5 months I have gotten used to it. A lingual arch is not that bad, you'll get used to it.
