LOL!!! Sorry for laughing at what must have been a very difficult and confusing time, BUT ….I have heard of being accused of putting one’s family before, one’s boy/girlfriend before, even one’s work before friendship, but NEVER braces…

Did she say it with a straight face?

Count yourself lucky for not wasting any more of your precious time with someone who obviously doesn’t deserve it.
