So, since I am home and bored off my ass I decided I would go watch some good, old-fashioned adult co-ed softball last night at BBSHS. That's right kids, Drunken Softball is back for the summer of 2003. Then, in a nicotene-induced haze, I thought to myself, "you know, we all enjoy drinking. We also enjoy attempting to play sports outdoors in the summer and Rick and Keith can be competitive, beligerent assholes (not unlike myself)...." So, basically, we should start our own drunken softball team. Blue Springs is still taking teams for the sunday afternoon leagues. It would be like $25/person for a team of 12-13, plus the cost of a team jersey/shirt (which is required). The league starts June 8 and goes through early Aug, so I think most of us will still be around by then. Anyone else in? I'm not sure what the rules on for the mandatory number of guys and girls, but I am sure we could find the necessary number if we all worked real hard. Anyway, if anyone else relishes the thought of drunken softball this summer, let us all know.

I know. Unfortunately, Jessie is in Columbia this summer. I should see her this weekend, so if I can con her into coming back to the BS one night a week to get wasted and beat up on old men, I will let you all know. Also, I found out last night that some guy in Independence is starting an adult kickball league. Sounds like Drunken Softball with a little "medium fast and slightly bouncy" tossed in for fun. The upside - umps who do't give a shit, and everyone else will be young.

It looks like I will def be in Columbia Monday night. I get out of school at 4ish, and should be on the road by 5. Tuesday I have 1 or maybe 2 midterms to take at MU in the morning, and then I think I could go up to Kirksville as well. Micro and Macro econ midterm 1, which shouldn't take too long. Like maybe 2 hours, tops. See you all soon.
