Well I spent the last 96 hours in Ohio campaigning for Kerry, only to watch the big choke-o-roo.

Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck. Bush will take his conservative sweep and his even more solid hold in the House and Senate and become the most conservative president in modern times. His ego is too large to emphasis the "healing of the wounds." The best presidents are moderates, but the most historically significant are the ones who swing the needle as far right or left as they can.

I expect more hawkish foreign policy and record returns for Carlyle and Haliburton. I also expect Enron to rise like a Phoenix. Okay, that's a stretch.

At the end of the day, I must point out one thing. Exit polls were never wrong until 2000 in Florida. This year they were wrong in Florida and Ohio. Hmm, the two states that Bush had to have. That's a little odd isn't it? Especially with the voting machines in Florida that don't have a paper trail.

That asshole owes us a more moderate term, but we'll get more bigotry, "morality," and a general ingorance of that whole "love your neighbor" doctrine of Jesus. Praise non-Christians everywhere. We follow the sermon on the mount much more than Christians.

BTW, while I was canvassing in Cleveland, I saw a house that had a Kerry/Edwards sign and a homemade "Support Homophobia" sign. It showed a husband and wife holding their little son's hand. Support Homophobia? Support the systematic hatred of a group of people. That's great. What commandment was that one, anyway?
