I joined thefacebook about a six eight months ago at UVA. It' this silly quasi-yearbook thing where you list your friends, yada yada I know it's stupid.

But there are a lot of search features, including searching for people from your high school. So I've made contact with Ryan Manuel, Rumana, and a one Christopher Scoville. He goes to Duke.

But Rachel McRae just asked me to be her friend, and I have a very liberal yes policy in that category, I mean I said yes to Christopher for Christssakes. And I purused her profile and discovered she's in fucking law school!!?!?!?

I mean Jill and I are basically putzing around in the city, and I probably shouldn't live me life looking over my shoulder, but she's a goddamn year younger than us. If we followed the course to a T, we'd be her classmate.

Any thoughts out there?

My thoughts? I was going to respond to this earlier, but I had to run to my $7.00 gig as a cleaner in a bakery. I think this. I'll be 23 this March, and I'm still an undergrad, and I haven't accomplished my goal of having anything published, I'm still in Missouri and I'm so broke I have to share a bedroom with another dude.

But it's tough to try to measure yourself against other people. I mean, you've got it made over most other people, myself included. But hey, I've got it better than a lot of other people.

So my advice to you is to only compare yourself to people who are dumber and poorer than you. That way, you'll always feel superior.
